SYED Leathers

Choose from a predesigned suit and pick your own colors.. or go all the way and design your own suit.

Syed has many options for style, comfort, and added protection. Everything from fit, to padding with all over perferation to joint, neck, and back protection.

Well worth the money!

Kushitani Gloves

Kushitani Leather Gloves are great for that added protection you want and need when riding street bikes.

These gloves have all the extras to protect you without limiting your ability to shift or brake freely.

Average Price range is $200 a pair.

Below is a copy of text taken from Kushitani's site describing this model of glove:

The GPR IV- The GPR series glove is back! And this time it's the best it's ever been. This glove features a super soft genuine cow leather throughout the outer layers of the glove, our revolutionary K-Foam at every impact area imaginable, and as if that weren't enough protection, a full Kevlar knit inner layer. The back of the hand features a re-designed "Action Pleat System" layout using stretch stitch leather, in a V-inlet pattern for maximum flexibility. Zylon Knit guards cover the fourth and fifth fingers plus Kevlar and Zylon stitching ensure the strongest construction on the market. But don't let all these hard protective features fool you. The GPR IV glove is still one of; if not the most, comfortable racing glove your hand will ever fall in love with.

These gloves held up to two low sides on the Road Course and one major wipeout on the dragstrip... I give these gloves my highest recommendation for the best protection one can buy with the greatest of comfort and flexibility we all need....

Check out the damage to the gloves after my latest incident - they have officially been retired now.

Alpinestars Boots

Alpinestars’ S-MX Plus racing boot raises performance and safety to new and unmatched levels with its innovative design, structural protection and comfort. All at an affordable price. Approximately $ 275

I found them to be quite stiff at first and takes some time to break in. You can't go wrong with the S-MX series boot. A definite must have for road racing.

This HJC helmet did it's job for me when my face met directly with the pavement after a head on collision with a deer doing XX mph...

Sidi Boots

Pro Race Gear has worked with Sidi of Italy to produce a drag race boot that satisfied the racer as well as the top racing organizations. Pro Drag Boots have the most requested features; light weight (only 1.1 lbs), reinforced toe, heel, and ankle, all leather construction, zip with fold-over velcro closure, and replaceable inside toe slider.

Excellent Fit and Comfort from day one! Highly recommend these for dragracing.

I however had to remove the toe puck so that I could keep traction while trying to steady the bike at the line.

Other than that I couldn't think of one thing I didn't like about these boots.

The protection is excellent.. as seen in the lower pictures where they did their job well in preventing me from getting any injuries to my ankles or feet from my May 31st wipeout at the dragstrip.

Unbelievable value for $ 239.

Arai Helmet

An Arai doesn't feel good for just an hour or two. It's made to feel good all day - and to keep feeling good for years.

You can't always see the reasons why, but they're there: lower weight from proprietary aerospace fiberglass, superb scratch-resistant face shield, lower center of gravity for better balance and less strain, softer single-piece multiple-density liners (whose technology has still not been able to be copied in almost 20 years), ventilation systems that work in the real world, not just in drawings.

And of course a large variety of gorgeous graphics to choose from.

Price Range  $ 300 - $ 800

This Arai helmet did it's job for me when I went down at the drag strip and spun several times on my head.

I loved this helmet's fit and comfort..... and most def. loved the protection it provided me....

KBC Helmet

As much as I hate to give bad reviews, I feel I have no choice but to be completely honest when it comes to my satisfaction with this KBC Helmet.

I purchased this New from a friend. Size Small. Never had a need to use it till after my wipeout in May '08.

After just two days at the drag strip with it, the foam inserts had already compressed so much that the helmet no longer fit as it should. I continued to wear it till I could get a new one. It was not much longer before it was so loose it would fall down in my face while riding.. this is when I decided I couldn't wait any longer to get a proper fitting helmet.

To give you an idea of just how badly it changed, a friend of mine who normally wears a Large tried it on and it Fit! I told him he was welcome to have it... I had no use for it any longer.

Price Range:  CLOSE OUT SALE!!     ACT NOW!      $200.00

plus 1 extra face shield is included

Even though you don't have the fancy graphics as with most helmets, I loved going with the Pro Tracker for it's functionality and benefits over it's counter parts.  My first time wearing it at the track proved to me I made the right choice in going with this helmet over any other.

It's definitely one of those you won't believe it's comfort till you try it. One thing I will say it's not a helmet you'd want to use for everyday riding if you're going to be wearing it for very long, there is not enough ventilation for it. It's truly a drag racing purpose helmet.

I chose to add a little customization to mine with a decal across the top of the visor and my initial on each side. One day I may choose to have something airbrushed on it.

I went with a size small.. same as my Previous Arai and it was a Perfect Fit!

I highly Recommend this Helmet to every drag racer out there.
